TRIED & TRUE TRUSSES is an innovative Western Australian company using the latest technology and manufacturing techniques to produce high quality plantation timber trusses and wall frames.
TRIED & TRUE has been in the business of estimating, designing and manufacturing roof trusses, wall frames and floor trusses for the residential and commercial markets for over 18 years.
TRIED & TRUE provide excellent customer service to support their quality product. Their expertise in roof design and construction, using engineered trusses, will save you money and time.
TRIED & TRUE TRUSSES is at the frontline of the revolution within the West Australian market to shift away from traditional building and construction practices to a quicker, more efficient and more cost effective method of off-site pre-fabrication and assembly.
All TRIED & TRUE TRUSSES pre-fabricated building products are designed using MiTek Australia software and technology which in turn engineers using the Gang-Nail building system. The Gang-Nail building system is in essence based on the use of multi-toothed connecter plates which, when coupled with computer based engineering technology and production equipment, ensure that maximum strength is obtained from each individual timber component. This ensures that engineered floors, walls and trusses have the most efficient use of timber in their design, thereby enhancing structural capabilities and improving overall cost effectiveness.
Whether you are building from the ground up or extending, Tried and True Trusses has the experience and resources to ensure that your project is built to your satisfaction.
THE BENEFITS OF PINE TIMBER
All Tried and True Trusses pre-fabricated building products incorporate West Australian grown structural pine timber into their designs. By choosing pine timber trusses you make the right choice for the environment. Not only because pine is a solar energy based, renewable resource but because the expansion of pine forestation within our own state is occurring on previously cleared land. Minimize your carbon footprint and choose pine timber.
All our structural pine timber meets Pine Australia Quality Certification and is reliably graded under strict quality control to Australian Industry Standards. It is kiln dried under carefully controlled conditions making it highly stable, stronger, stiffer and better able to hold nails. But pine also offers has several other important advantages over non-timber building materials.
- It’s easy to build with. Besides being strong and sturdy, pine is planer gauged to a smooth surface and accurate dimensions. Coupled with it’s light weight this makes it easy to handle and allows your carpenter to work to a high degree of accuracy.
- Alterations are made easy. Cupboards, pictures, windows, air-conditioning units, skylights, wiring, piping, and electric sockets are all easily installed in a timber framed building.
- A timber framed house is thermally efficient. This is especially important in the West Australian summer. It’s thermal properties mean less expansion and contraction and therefore less noise during hotter periods.
- Pine timber framing offers added safety. It does not conduct electricity. It is not sharp and slippery. It has a great capacity to absorb impact and temporary overload in earthquakes and cyclones .
